For the month of October 2021, Help for Orphan Children Organization (HOCO) set out to raise money to donate medical equipment and medicine to a health center located in Kabul. Help for Orphan Children Organization has continued its efforts to help the people of Parwan province who suffered severe devastating floods last year. Many families lost loved ones including young children and have been suffering ever since, living in extreme conditions. On August 25, 2021, HOCO’s medical team decided to provide health services and medicine to those who have been displaced and affected by the floods. (August 25, 2021) (14)
Due to dire living conditions in Afghanistan, many families do not have enough to eat this Ramadan. Because of your support and donations, this Ramadan HOCO held a distribution event on July 10, 2021, through the use of distribution cards to provide food packages (Rice, Beans, Flour, & Oil ) to over 160 families in need.
